Administration overview

Administrative screens are accessible from the Navigation bar on left side of your screen. These administrative screens are web pages that allow you to perform administration functions (managing employees, changing passwords, managing workflow templates, and so on). Administrative roles are assigned to Client Administrators within the company. Client Administrators are responsible for:

  • Personnel data and company information (personal data, employee-manager relationships, company divisions, departments, locations, job descriptions)
  • Process workflows (the steps in your review process)
  • Content (appraisal forms, instructions for users and email notifications)

Certain administrative functions require the use of external Rival WingSpan administration tools. There are two Microsoft® Windows programs that can be used to upload employee information and relationship files to the Rival WingSpan database. These tools can be downloaded directly from the Rival WingSpan Navigation.
