Reopen a performance plan

Reopening a performance plan resets all the goals to an unapproved status which allows the employee to make changes and resubmit for approval. In addition, if the plan was previously closed, it removes the closed date so the plan can again be edited.

Do not use Reopen to undo a prior Close. A Reopen will completely reopen all the goals in the plan by changing their statuses to Unapproved.

If you want to undo a prior Close, please contact your Rival Implementation Consultant or Rival Support.

Follow these steps to reopen one or more performance plans.

1. From the Navigation bar under Performance Planning, select Admin Plan Dashboard.
2. Perform a search for a performance plan.
3. To reopen a single performance plan:
   1. Click the Reopen link in the Actions column of the plan.
   2. Confirm the reopen by clicking Yes.
4. To reopen multiple performance plans:
   1. Place a check mark next to the plan(s) you want to reopen.
   2. Click Reopen Plan at the bottom of the page.
   3. Confirm the reopen by clicking Yes.
