Instructor qualifications

Instructors can be qualified to teach training activities defined in SilkRoad Learning based on the qualification rules defined for the Instructor. Instructors assigned to training events in the Planning Board who are not qualified to teach a specific course causes a resource conflict flag to be set for the training event.

Instructor qualifications are used by the Planning Board to determine whether an instructor is considered to be qualified to teach a specific course. SilkRoad Learning indicates conflicts when an unqualified Instructor is associated to a training event that the instructor is not qualified to teach. SilkRoad Learning provides a list of suggested Instructors when a training event is selected for editing in the Planning Board.
