Constrain Choice Controls

Parent activities in a cluster can constrain choice, if desired. By default, unconstrained Choice is always allowed (users may select any item in a cluster in any order). In special cases, users may want to restrict users ability to choose or activate content by setting these values to ON.

Constrain Choice: Setting this value to ON restricts user choice to allow selecting ONLY the next logical activity in the "flow" from the current activity.

Prevent Activation: Setting this value to ON restricts user choice to allow selecting ONLY descendants of the current activity if the activity is already active. Any inactive items cannot be selected.
