SCORM and AICC are technical standards that tell programmers how to write code so that learning that uses that “code” works well in a variety of circumstances.

For example, many learning professionals use authoring software to create online learning courses. SCORM and AICC coding ensures that what is published works in a variety of circumstances where that learning is delivered.
