Add a forum

1. From the navigation bar, click Enterprise>Community>Forums.

   The Forums page opens.

   

   The Forums page lists the forums that are available in SilkRoad Learning. On this page, you can:

   • Search for forums
   • View properties for existing forums
   • Add forums
   • Delete forums
2. Click Add.

   The Forum Properties page opens.

   

   On the Forum Properties page, you define the properties for a forum.

   Fields

   Name: Type a name for the forum.

   Description: Type a description for the forum.

   Media: To include media in the forum, such as a logo, click to search for and select media from the Media/Asset Bank page.

   Assign To: Select one of the following:

   • All Users: Allows all users to access to the forum.
   • Student Criteria: Displays additional fields to use to restrict access to the forum. You can restrict by job, organization, group, and job category.
3. Provide a name and description for the forum.
4. (If applicable) Attach media.
5. (If applicable) Assign all users to the forum or restrict by user criteria (jobs, groups, job categories, and/or organizations).
6. Click Add.
