Uploading candidates

Use Candidate Upload to import candidates from a local or networked drive.

Key info

• A candidate's resume must be in a folder on a drive that is accessible from the user’s local computer.
• Resumes cannot be uploaded directly from email. If the resume is in your local email application, save the attachment to a locally accessible directory and then upload into SilkRoad Recruiting.
• Supported file formats for uploading include Word (.doc, .docx), Rich Text (.rtf), Plain Text (.txt), HTML (.htm, .html) and .pdf converted to text, not obtained directly from a scanner as these are images rather than text-based files.
