Initiate offer approval process (optional) and enter offer information
- The first step to extending an offer to a candidate is to record the offer information SilkRoad Recruiting.
- When a candidate is moved into the Offer Approval hiring stage or its equivalent, you are prompted to fill out information pertinent to the offer.
- Selecting Offer Approval is not a required stage in the hiring life cycle.
- Access a candidate's candidate profile.
- Go to the Hiring Stages list.
- Select Offer Approval (or its equivalent).
- Click Change to selected stage.
- Complete the Offer form.
- Click Continue.
- Click Cancel (to bypass the approval process)
or Click OK (to initiate the Offer Review process). - Select/Assign Approvers to review this offer.
Note: You can choose to assign up to 10 approvers for the offer. When reviewing in sequence, sort the approvers using the drag and drop vertical arrows.
- Place a check mark next to Review in Sequence if you want the approvers to review in specific sequence. Or remove the check mark if the review sequence is not required.
- Click Save.
The Offer Review process initiates and approval emails are sent.
