Using group claims/membership to restrict access

You can use group claims/membership to restrict access to any Life Suite module and Talent App. A group claim is the name of a group that identifies users (members) who are allowed to access a particular module. If a user does not have the group claim membership or role, he cannot access the module even if he exists in the module as a defined user and has been successfully authenticated.

For instance, you could have a U.S. Domestic group claim, which would contain users located in the U.S. You could then restrict access in a module by that group claim, effectively allowing only users in the U.S. access to that module.

You can learn more about group claims and how they work in the Life Suite Authentication Reference Guide. Refer to Additional documentation for details.
