Changing from end of calendar year rule to fixed period recertification method

SilkRoad Learning includes a Qualification rule that allowed setting a Certification or Recertification as "Valid to end of Calendar Year". This rule is no longer available and has been replaced with the Fixed Period Recertification method. Any existing Certification or Recertification rules that were using this setting will be converted to a "Mastery" Recertification method. Your previous recertification rules will need to be reviewed and reconfigured to use a "Fixed Period" Recertification method if desired.

To reconfigure your old "Valid to end of Calendar Year" certifications, you will need to select "Fixed Period" as the recertification method and then select a Base Due Date as the start date for your recertification cycle.
