Custom data fields

With custom data fields, you can collect data that is otherwise not collected in the system. For example, you might want to collect licensing and degree information for students. You can create custom data fields to collect that information.

Custom data fields can be added as properties in these system tables:

• Students
• Vendors
• Course records
• eCourses
• Training activities
• Competencies
• Training locations
• User course records
• User competency record
• User assignment records
• User exam records
• User requirement records

Custom data fields can also be used as filters for searching and building custom reports.

Custom data fields appear at the bottom of a properties page. They can be organized into a group and then sequenced (ordered) within that group.
