Activity setting templates

The settings for each rollup criteria are set within the Activity Settings area. SilkRoad Learning provides several templates for the Rollup Control settings under Required / Scored in Activity Settings. You can modify the settings individually by choosing User Defined from the Required / Scored drop list.

There are 5 possible settings.

Activity is NOT Required OR Scored

Activity is an optional item that does not contribute to progress or score.

Activity is Required

Activity is a required item that must be MASTERED as part of the parent activity (cluster) to become MASTERED. To ensure rollup to all parent activities, all ancestors must also be set to Required.

Activity is Required AND Scored

Activity is a required item that must be MASTERED as part of the parent activity (cluster) to become MASTERED and its scored value will be used to calculate the overall score for its parent activity (cluster). The Rollup Objective Measure Weight for this activity and all its ancestors must be set to a non-zero value to contribute score to the entire eCourse.

With Use Default Required Mark set to ON, the activity Objective Status will be determined based on the default required mark set by the company default or the student Qualification. With Use Default Required Mark set to OFF, the activity Objective Status will be determined based on the Required Mark entered for the Activity.

SCORM Default

The SCORM default setting is the default setting used for content objects to rollup the Objective Satisfied status, Progress Completion status, and 100% (Objective Measure Weight) of all Scored values from child activities that are Scored. The SCORM default does not calculate Objective satisfaction based on any scored values, it only rolls up scored values from its child activities.

User Defined

Activity Settings for rollup satisfied status, progress completion, weight, scored setting, and required pass mark can be independently set to any value.
