Create a competency definition

  1. From the navigation bar, click Learning>Direct>Competencies.

    The Competencies page opens.

  2. Click Add.

    The Competency Properties page opens.

  3. Type a title for the competency.
  4. (If applicable) Type a reference for the competency to make it easier to find in searches.
  5. Select a certification type and status.
  6. (If applicable) Select one or more categories.
  7. Type evaluation and measurement criteria as well as a description of the competency.
  8. (If applicable) Type a URL for the competency to link the competency to a document if required.
  9. Select and assign performance objectives.
  10. Select and assign any equivalencies.
  11. Click Add.
