Content objects

Content objects are the foundation of all eCourses. They all contain one or more activities that a learner must work through to satisfy the completion requirements. They can be made into stand-alone eCourses, combined with other content objects to create other eCourses, or used as supplementary material for other courses.

The great power in using content objects is that they are reusable and can be shared. You can create them once and use them in multiple places. If you make a change to the "source" content object, then everywhere else that uses that object is also updated.
