Complete Section 1 of Form I-9

  • As an employee, you complete section 1 of Form I-9. Complete it accurately. The information is used to verify your identity.
  1. From the Task List in the portal, select the I-9 Section 1 task.
  2. Click the link in the task to open the I-9 Form.
  3. Update information in Section 1 of the I-9 Form.

    Tip: Click Instructions for detailed form instructions. Hover your mouse over a field for brief instructions. Click for detailed field instructions.

  4. Do one of the following:
    • Choose Save & Complete Later to save the document without sending it to the onboarding manager. You can come back and complete it later.
    • Choose Save & Complete Task to save the document.

    A task is activated for the employer to review Section 1 and its supporting documentation.

    The status of the Complete Section 1 task is now Complete.

  5. Choose Cancel from the Task Detail page (in the portal) to return to your Task List.
