Completing Form I-9

The employee (new hire) and employer are both involved in completing a Form I-9.

Key info

  • A task is pushed to the employee (new hire) to complete Section 1 of Form I-9. The employee accesses the task in the Portal and completes Section 1.
  • A task is pushed to the employer to review Section 1 of Form I-9 and supporting documentation and complete Section 2. This happens after the employee saves and completes Section 1. The employer accesses tasks on the Task List.

Good to know

  • If Form I-9 needs to be changed or corrected after it is completed in SilkRoad Onboarding, it can be reopened.
