Create a new email (CCE) template

  1. From the navigation bar, click Administration>CCE Templates.

    The Create Batch Email Template page opens.

  2. In the Create New Template text box, type the title. Make it descriptive. This is what is displayed when selecting a template.
  3. In the Define Email Subject text box, type a subject for the email message. This is the subject line that your CCE message always uses when this template is selected. The subject line cannot contain merge fields.
  4. In the Define Message Content text box, type your message.

    You can include merge fields. SilkRoad Recruiting will replace the merge field with account/candidate related data.

    Tip: If your team sends a merge field for the candidate to complete the EEO form or an e-application form, the hyperlinks are one-time use only and the links expire after the applicant completes the form. 

    Tip: You can use the HTML text editor to further drive your branding message. The HTML text editor allows users with permission to create emails to send in batch files to recipients. You can type text, paste text from a Word document or text file, insert hyperlinks, view the HTML source, and insert images.

  5. Click Preview to preview your message.
  6. Click Save to store your new template.

    Note: CCE templates cannot be defined with pre-selected file attachments but users can add attachments when sending emails created from templates.
