Use merge fields in CCE messages

  1. From the navigation bar, click Administration>CCE Templates.

    The Create Batch Email Template window opens.

  2. From the Select an existing template list, select a CCE template to edit.
  3. Set your cursor position in the message content area (where you want the merge field to go).
  4. Under Merge Fields, click the fields to merge.

    The merge field string is replaced with data from the SilkRoad Recruiting system when the message is sent.

    Tip: Merge fields can only be used in the message body not the subject line.

    If you decide to use a merge field for an EEO/OFCCP form or e-application form, note the hyperlink provided is one-time use for the candidate. After the candidate completes these forms, the hyperlink is expired.
