Candidate submission process
Here's an outline of the candidate submission process:
Contact Information form
- This is a required step.
- The only removable fields are the "Secondary Phone" and "Primary Contact Method" fields.
- Field requirement cannot be adjusted.
- In addition, a customer can opt to display up to 10 custom fields on the Internal Information form.
eForm (by customization only)
- An eForm/eApplication is a custom built application form. While it is often collected by making an emailed request to a candidate using the CCE tool, it can be configured in such a way that it replaces parts of the standard candidate submission process.
- An eForm may consist of multiple pages. If the eForm is being presented as part of the initial submission process, it must always be preceded by the Contact Information form and followed by the Job Preferences form (or the next available form if the Job Preferences form has been removed).
- An eForm is created as a chargeable services engagement by the implementation services group.
- Multiple eForms cannot be strung together in series.
Internal Information form (on iPostings internal applicant interface only)
- Collects info pertinent to a candidate’s status as an employee. Available fields include:
- Current Department
- Current Supervisor
- Current Position Title
- Current Work Phone No.
- Current Work Location
- Any of the above fields can be removed from the form. If the field is not removed, it is required.
- In addition, a customer can opt to display up to 10 custom fields on the Internal Information form.
Job Preferences form
- This is an optional step. The entire step may be removed if desired.
- Any individual field may be removed. Note that the "Willing To Relocate," "Relocation Preferences" and "Other Relocation Preferences" fields can only be enabled or disabled together.
- Field requirement cannot be adjusted.
Work Authorization Status form
- This is an optional step. The entire step may be removed if desired.
- Any individual field may be removed. Note that the "Are you authorized to work in" and "Additional countries authorized to work in" fields can only be enabled/disabled together.
- Field requirement cannot be adjusted.
Education form
- This is an optional step. The entire step may be removed if desired.
- Any individual field may be removed.
- Field requirement cannot be adjusted.
Additional Information form
- This is an optional step. The entire step may be removed if desired.
- This step will only appear if you are collecting custom field data. A customer can opt to display up to 10 custom fields on the Internal Information form.
- Any individual field may be removed.
- Field requirement can be adjusted.
Resume/CV Submission Options form
- This is an optional step. The entire step may be removed if desired.
- Any one of the three options may be removed.
Resume/CV Content form
- This is an optional step. The entire step may be removed if desired.
- Depending on the option chosen on the Resume/CV Submission Options form, candidates are able to copy/paste, "build a resume" or upload their resume. There are no configurable options on these forms.
Screening Questions form
- This is an optional step.
- This step displays job-specific screening questions and is only visible if the job has associated screening questions. Screening questions are configured and controlled by the user posting the job.
- There are no configurable options on this form.
Equal Employment Opportunity form
- This is an optional step. The entire step may be removed if desired.
- Four questions are available. Any of the questions can be hidden. The question wording and the answers cannot be customized.
- What is your gender?
- What is your race?
- Are you disabled? (hidden by default)
- What is your Veteran Status? (hidden by default)
