Configuring the Organization chart

Configuring the Organization chart consists of the following tasks:

  • Edit the Direct Manager role to include in the Relationship chart
  • Select a role and set permissions for that role for these required permission objects:

    Permission object

    Description

    My Team icon

    View the My Team icon on the Home page in the My Profile section

    Direct Manager hierarchy

    View the Direct Manager hierarchy on the Organization chart

  • (Optional) Select a role and set permissions for optional permission objects:

    Permission object

    Description

    Employee Profile Link on My Profile

    View the:

    1. Profile icon in the My Profile section of the Home page

      and

    2. Employee Profile icon for the current user on the Organization chart

    Home-Journal Link for My Profile

    View the:

    1. Journal icon in the My Profile section of the Home page

      and

    2. Employee Journal icon for the current user on the Organization chart

    Employee Profile Link on My Team Members

    View the Employee Profile icon for all employees or child relationships on the Organization chart

    View the Employee Journal icon for all employees or child relationships on the Organization chart
