Translate a code numeric

1. From the Navigation bar under Content Management, select Manage Code Numerics.

   The Localize Code Numerics page appears.

   

   The Localize Code Numerics page allows for the translation and override of the system variable defaults.

   Note: Contact your Implementation Consultant or Rival Support before making changes to the Code Numerics.

   Code numerics that need to be translated have a red circle in the far left column and a notice appears at the top of the grid.

   You can copy text from the base language to a selected language using the Copy From Base button. This allows text that is not in the base language, but resides in the base language field, to be copied to the proper language field.

   Use the links at the bottom of the page to view the previous or next page. Change the number of rows to display on the screen using the drop-down list. By default, the page size is set to 25.

2. From the Language drop-down, select the language.

   This is the language the translation is to be provided in. Only supported languages are available for selection.

   Items that need to be translated display a red circle in far left column and a message appears at the top of the grid.

3. Next to the code numeric to translate, click Edit or Adv.

   Edit allows for inline editing and translation of the selected code numeric short name and long name text.

   

   Adv opens the Advanced Editor page. Here edits and translation can be provided for the short name, long name, description, sort order and icon path.

   

4. Make the necessary edits and/or translations.
5. Click the Save link.
6. After a translation is provided; the sort order can be updated. Click the Sort Order link to make updates.

   The Sort Order Editor screen appears.

   

7. Make any changes and click Save and Close.
