Writing Assistant Management Console

Writing Assistant provides suggested phrases for use in appraisals and assessments. It can be enabled or disabled based on your preferences.

The Writing Assistant has a phrase library for 51 core Competencies. Each Competency has a set of Reasons the reviewer can use concerning the employee’s behavior on this Competency and each Reason has 5 Phrases the reviewer can choose from that range in Tone from "Exemplary" to "Must be Improved".

Reasons and Phrases in the phrase library can be edited using the Edit Phrase Library page on the Writing Assistant Management Console.

If you want, you can import a customized library to replace the existing Writing Assistant library.

The Competency Mapper page on the Writing Assistant Management Console is used to enable the Writing Assistant on a form. This is done by mapping a core Competency in the phrase library to a Competency on a form. Once a Competency is mapped, the Writing Assistant is enabled for the Comment box on the form associated with the Competency.
