Password expiration

Client Administrators can choose to specify the number of days before the user’s password will expire.

  • By default password expiration is not enabled.
  • Use the check box to enable or disable password expiration.
  • The range for password expiration is 30 to 730 days, with a default setting of 120 days when enabled.
  • When a user’s password expires, he/she is redirected to the Password Reset screen to reset his/her password. The user is required to enter and confirm the new password.

If the user enters a password that does not meet the defined password configuration, an error is displayed at the bottom of the password reset page stating the criteria that needs to be met.
