Supervisor Subordinate Relationship

Defining a supervisor relationship in SilkRoad Learning provides the ability to automate how users view data and how users are notified by the system. To take advantage of this function, you must first configure your site so your data defines the relationships between users in terms of a Supervisor/Subordinate relationship.

To use the Supervisor functionality, the first step is to define the Supervisor/Subordinate relationship for all users. There are two ways to define this relationship:

• Manually, using the interface in each Student Property sheet
• Automatically, by defining up to five Supervisors as part of your HR Import mapping
