Notification types

Other than the Ad-hoc message event, all other notifications are trigger-based on actual events that occur in SilkRoad Learning.

For example, the student password reminder event cannot be triggered unless a student activates the Password Reminder feature from their Student Home Page. Once this event has been triggered, the rules for notification take over on how and when the information will be delivered.
