Grading types
Grading types are used when students are assessed on assignments or other types of interventions. Here are the default grading types:
- Complete/Incomplete: This grading type can be used to record a pass/fail rating for any intervention (eCourse, training activity, assignment, or exam).
- Percentage: This grading type can be used to record a percentage value (0 – 100) for any intervention.
- Checklist: This grading type is used with checklists.
As an administrator, you can add more grading types like a rating scale or letter grade.
All grades are stored in the system as a real number value between 0 and 1. The grading type definition provides the rule to translate this value to the grading type.
