Signing an eForm
When an employee opens an eForm that requires an electronic signature, the signature types set up to be allowed on the eForm are shown.

Cursor signature
|
When an employee selects this option, the element displays fields that are part of that signature type:
- The employee draws their signature with the cursor, types their Printed Name, enters today’s date, and clicks Sign.
- The Signature Verification field is populated, indicating the eForm was electronically signed.

Keyboard sign
|
When an employee selects this option, the element displays the fields that are part of that signature type. The employee types in their name, select today’s date, and clicks Sign. The Signature Verification field is populated, indicating the eForm was electronically signed.

Wet signature
|
When an employee selects this option, the element displays the fields that are part of that signature type:
- There are lines for a handwritten signature and date when the form is printed and a required Printed Name field.
- After the employee fills in their Printed Name, your system populates the Signature Verification field, indicating when the eForm was prepared for printing.

Allow PDF Sign Service
|
When an employee selects this option, the document can be signed using a third-party signing solution. For a:
- Electronic signature: A Sign & Sign button appears on the eForm. After clicking it, signing happens using the third-party signing solution.
- Digital signature: The eForm is sent to a third-party signature provider with instructions to apply a digital signature to the eForm document.

Need to provide additional instructions to employees? Include a static text element before the electronic signature element.
Changing a signature
If an employee electronically signs an eForm and then wants to change the signature, a warning message alerts that their signature is going to be removed.
