Job board posting permissions

Job Board Posting permissions are maintained via Mapped Users. When you request the addition of a new job board for posting integration, a list of the recruiting users (First Name and Last Name) to which the job board will be mapped should be included in the request. Each job board may have one or more mapped users.

Remember that if a recruiting user is mapped to a job board, any job owned by the recruiting user can be posted to the mapped job board. For example, let’s assume that we have three recruiting managers (RMs) on staff:

  • RM1 is mapped to Monster and CareerBuilder
  • RM2 is mapped to Monster and CareerBuilder
  • RM3 is mapped to Monster

RM2 logs in to SilkRoad Recruiting to post a job that RM3 owns (i.e. RM3 is the Assigned Recruiter) to a job board. RM2 is presented with only the option to post to Monster and not CareerBuilder because RM3 is only mapped to Monster and jobs owned by RM3 can only be posted to job boards to which RM3 is mapped. This mapping is maintained regardless of the fact that RM2 is performing the posting.

The permission model is based on the mapping of the job boards to the job owner, not based on which user is logged into SilkRoad Recruiting.
