Posting a job to an internet job board

After job board posting integration has been configured, you can queue a job for posting to an internet job board directly through the SilkRoad Recruiting user interface.

Not all job boards operate in the same way. Some boards allow for free postings while others accept pre-payment for postings or charge on a per posting basis. Some boards only allow free postings if the job meets specific criteria. SilkRoad does not control or inform you about a job board’s pricing policy. SilkRoad does not provide compensation for such charges when they occur. Ensure you understand a job board's policy before requesting a post.

The user who is creating a new job can select job boards for posting during the last step in the job creation process. The job status must be Normal or External. The job owner (assigned recruiter) must have one or more mapped job boards to view the list of available job boards.

Note: Invalid job board credentials, lack of posting credits, and technical problems can affect job board posting success. If there is an issue with any of your postings, a SilkRoad representative contacts you to explain the issue. Any issues negate SilkRoad's responsibility to process the job posting within 48 hours.
