Standard merge fields (system-generated)

Standard merge fields (system-generated) listed in the table below must be contained inside parenthesis to merge into the letter correctly.

Example: (Candidatefirstname), we are glad you accepted our offer as (JobTitle). Your (ofsalarytype) will be $(OFSalary).

By contrast, custom merge fields do not need to be contained inside parenthesis. A mix of standard and custom merge fields can be used.

Example: (Candidatefirstname), we are glad you accepted our offer as (JobTitle) with a salary grade of CustomMergeField1. Your (ofsalarytype) will be $(OFSalary), and you will be working in the CustomMergeField2 division.
