Archive a plan rule

You can archive goal plan rules on the Manage Plan Rules page. When a plan rule is archived, the associated plan period is also automatically archived. For example, if 2009 Plan Rule is archived on the Manage Plan Rules page, the associated plan period 2009 Goal Period on the Manage Plan Periods page is also archived.

After a plan rule has been archived, the associated plan period cannot be selected for use in a new configuration. Existing configurations are not affected.

Follow these steps to archive a plan rule.

1. From the Navigation bar under Performance Planning, select Manage Plan Rules.

   The Manage Plan Rules page appears.

   

2. Click the Archive link next to the plan rule you want to archive.
