Features

Features are files that are added to a content object because they will enhance the course content. For example, a course designer might add a Microsoft Word “cheat sheet” to an online Microsoft Word course so the student has a short, one page job aid with commands to use when working with Word documents.

Any files stored in the Media/Asset Bank can be used as a feature such as graphics, audio, Word documents, and PDF files.

To use features within a course, files must be added to SilkRoad Learning first and then tagged as a feature. Then, when the course is being built, the feature can be added to the course where it is appropriate.
