Calculating CQE evaluation scores

Here's an example of how CQE evaluation scores are calculated.

A recruiter creates an Account Executive position and associates three multiple choice questions.

Evaluation weight

Maximum CQE points available

Possible answers

Question 1

100

100

Response A=100 points

Response B=50 points

Response C=0 points

Question 2

75

75

Response A=75 points

Response B=0 points

Question 3

50

50

Response A=50 points

Response B=25 points

Response C=0 points

A candidate submits a resume for the Account Executive position and provides the following responses:

  • Question 1 – Response C
  • Question 2 – Response A
  • Question 3 – Response B

CQE evaluation score=Total number of CQE points/Total number of CQE points available.

For this candidate:

(Response C/Question 1) 0 + (Response A/Question 2) 75 + (Response/Question 3) 25 = 100

Divide by

(Evaluation Weight/Question 1) 100 + (Evaluation Weight/Question 2) 75 + (Evaluation Weight/Question 3) 50 = 225

equals (=)

100/225=.44 or 44 percent

.44 is the number that is shown in the Evaluations tab when viewing this candidate's candidate profile.
